Plumber – Dubai Marina

About the role

Marriott International is looking for a qualified plumber to join the facilities team at its JW Marriott property in Dubai Marina. The successful candidate will handle minor plumbing repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Unclog drains and fix minor plumbing problems.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, and install pipe assemblies, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform leak detection by filling pipes or fixtures with water or air.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools and equipment and perform miscellaneous minor repairs.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant plumbing experience.
• Valid Stationary Engineer/Boiler Operator License and Plumber Certification.

Required skills

• Pipe assembly and fitting.
• Leak detection using water or air pressure testing.
• Blueprint and building code interpretation.
• Pipe cutting, threading, and bending.
• Installation and maintenance of plumbing fixtures and appliances.
