Post-Doctoral Associate in Cyber Security

About the role

The Center of Cyber Security at NYU Abu Dhabi is seeking a post‑doctoral associate to conduct state‑of‑the‑art research on security and privacy, primarily based in Abu Dhabi with close collaboration with NYU researchers in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct world‑class research in systems security and privacy and publish in top‑tier conferences and journals.
• Collaborate with NYU researchers, government entities and industry partners to deliver groundbreaking results.
• Mentor PhD, master and bachelor students, helping them improve their research capabilities.
• Support the Center by contributing technically or administratively to workshops, conferences and competitions.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science or Engineering with a focus on security or privacy (or a submitted thesis).
• Less than five years of post‑doctoral experience.
• Strong analytical, design and coding abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and take initiative.
