Primary KS2 Teacher (Start August)

About the role

GEMS FirstPoint School is looking for an enthusiastic Primary KS2 Teacher to join its vibrant community from August 2027. The successful candidate will deliver the British curriculum to Key Stage 2 pupils, fostering an inclusive and high‑quality learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum, including preparation for GCSE.
• Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to support all abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s inclusive ethos and pastoral care.
• Potentially take on middle‑leadership duties such as Curriculum Leadership, Head of Year, ECA Coordination, or Head of Careers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching Primary within the British curriculum.
• Passion for inclusive education and ability to inspire students of diverse abilities.

Required skills

• Excellent subject knowledge of the British Primary curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and instructional design skills.
