PRO and Training Coordinator

About the role

Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, is hiring a PRO and Training Coordinator for a full-time position on site. The role combines visa and permit administration for employees with administrative support for the resort's Learning and Development (L&D) activities.

Key responsibilities

• Handle employee visa and permit administration: renew trade license, hotel liquor license, residence visas, OHC and Emirates ID, and cancel visas; apply new and renewal visas in the GDRFA system.
• Maintain the filing system and database, monitor visa expiries, and submit monthly visa expenses to Finance.
• Accompany departing associates to the airport for visa cancellation and pick up new associates from the airport.
• Administer the orientation programme, ensure compliance with Marriott statutory classroom and e-learning courses, administer the MyLearning platform and update training records on mHUB/DLZ.
• Office and HR admin: order and release office supplies, maintain the stationery store, prepare leaving documents, book tickets for new hires and raise purchase requisitions.
• Apply for medical insurance for new associates, assist with associate events and collect official documents and supplies.

Required profile

• Previous government relations and administrative experience within the UAE government.
• Hospitality or hotel experience desirable.
• High school diploma or GED, or 2 years' experience in human resources or a related field.

Required skills

• Fluent written and spoken English and strong verbal, listening and writing communication skills.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy of spelling, grammar and layout.
• MS Office and social media tools.
• Organized, proactive, multi-tasking and able to prioritize.
