Procurement Executive - Fleet & Spare Parts

About the role

Careers International is hiring a Procurement Executive in Dubai for a fleet and spare parts environment. The role covers sourcing operational and electromechanical vehicles, including staff transport, and supporting finance negotiations, approvals and close-outs with the relevant departments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential vendors by assessing their capabilities, financial stability, reputation and alignment with the organization's goals
• Negotiate and finalise contracts, including pricing, SLAs, delivery schedules and other terms
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and quality standards using KPIs and regular reviews
• Act as mediator in vendor disputes and resolve issues with legal, finance and operations
• Build strong vendor relationships and develop strategic partnerships
• Assess and mitigate vendor risks through due diligence, periodic audits and contingency plans
• Improve vendor performance through process optimisation, quality controls and feedback
• Manage vendor-related budgets with finance, track costs and identify savings
• Research market trends and evaluate new vendors or products
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including contract compliance, data protection and intellectual property

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical or B.Tech Electrical, with manufacturing or parts sourcing experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, vendor management and vendor development
• Spare parts knowledge of consumables, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic and automation systems
• Able to interpret technical drawings and create detailed Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Strong coordination with finance on pricing, delivery times and payment terms
