Procurement Officer (UAE National)

About the role

Tawazon Chemical Co. LLC, a multinational chemical company operating for over three decades with its head office in Dubai, is hiring a Procurement Officer (UAE National) in the Coating 1 - Sales department. The role covers sourcing suppliers, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating prices and payment terms, and ensuring timely procurement of materials, products and services in line with company requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs.
• Obtain and compare quotations from several suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.
• Prepare and process purchase orders according to approved requisitions and company policy.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and delivery timelines.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor purchase orders, pending deliveries and outstanding supplier commitments.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
