Warehouse Assistant and Sorter

About the role

Xoom TGL is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Warehouse Assistant and Sorter to support its daily warehouse and logistics operations in Dubai Investment Park 1. The role covers receiving and processing shipments, sorting parcels and keeping inventory records accurate, using barcode scanning systems and standard operating procedures. It is an entry-level position suited to organised, physically fit candidates who can work flexible shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments against manifests or advance shipping notices and check quantities, labels and visible condition
• Scan, sort, label, seal, store, pick, pack, stage and load shipments according to system instructions and SOPs
• Keep warehouse zones for incoming goods, sorting, returns, damaged items, outgoing shipments and equipment tidy
• Report damaged goods, shortages, excess stock, incorrect labels and security issues immediately
• Operate barcode scanners, weighing and measuring equipment, trolleys and other material-handling tools safely
• Maintain inventory locations, stock movement records and cycle counts
• Handle high-value, confidential, restricted, COD and returned shipments according to custody procedures
• Follow safety, PPE, manual handling, fire safety and access-control rules, complete shift handovers and support peak-period volumes

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in courier sorting, e-commerce fulfilment or warehouse operations preferred
• Ability to read shipment labels, follow system-directed tasks and perform manual handling safely
• Reliable, disciplined, detail-oriented, team player committed to workplace safety
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and cover peak periods
