Production Manager – Event Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee workshop operations, labour management, and the full lifecycle of exhibition stands and event structures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop activities, production schedules and the fabrication of booths, stages and event structures.
• Supervise carpenters, painters, welders, technicians and labourers, ensuring quality, timely delivery and budget control.
• Hire, allocate and manage skilled and unskilled labour, track attendance, overtime and coordinate with manpower suppliers.
• Prepare quotations, BOQs and cost estimates, negotiate supplier rates and monitor project budgets.
• Arrange logistics, transportation, deliveries, loading/unloading and manage material storage after dismantling.
• Review project briefs, technical drawings and 3D designs to plan production timelines and manpower requirements.
• Source materials, negotiate prices, monitor purchase orders and ensure material quality.
• Supervise on‑site installation and dismantling, coordinate site workers, permits and final quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain production quality standards.
• Report progress, labour and material usage, inventory and budget variations to management.
