Project Director – Data Center

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead design review, project management consultancy (PMC) and construction supervision for data‑center projects across the UAE and GCC. You will act as the senior technical and managerial liaison for the client, ensuring governance, compliance and quality from concept through hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for PMC and construction supervision from design through construction and handover.
• Serve as the primary senior interface with the client, authorities, designers, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design‑review processes, ensuring compliance with data‑center standards, project requirements and local regulations.
• Implement project governance, reporting and decision‑making frameworks.
• Lead risk management, constructability reviews and technical assurance across design and construction phases.
• Supervise site activities to guarantee execution according to approved designs, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor cost, schedule, change management and claims avoidance.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality obligations are fully met.
• Mentor the Project Manager and Technical Leads.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in PMC or construction supervision for large‑scale or mission‑critical projects.
• Proven experience on data‑center or mission‑critical facilities in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong leadership, governance and client‑facing capabilities.
• Based primarily in the UAE with occasional short‑term GCC travel.
