Project Engineer - Facade

About the role

A leading provider of facade solutions, specialising in aluminium and glazing fabrication, is looking for a Project Engineer in Dubai. The engineer manages and oversees facade projects from conception to completion, delivering them on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resources and milestones, and coordinate all phases of execution.
• Provide technical support during design and review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.
• Act as the main liaison between clients, architects, contractors and internal teams.
• Implement quality control procedures, conduct site visits and inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate project risks.
• Maintain project documentation and prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of project engineering experience, specifically in facade, aluminium and glazing fabrication.
• Proven track record of managing facade, aluminium and glazing projects from design to completion.
• At least 2 years of work experience in the UAE or GCC region is mandatory.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management software and CAD.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium and glazing systems.
• Problem-solving, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
