Project Intern - Business Development (UAE)

About the role

CICC is looking for a project intern based in Dubai to support the business development of its firm-wide business across the region. The internship is full-time or part-time, with at least 3 days per week preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Support in-depth research on countries, the securities and finance industry, competitors and business plans, including data mining, analysis, report drafting and presentations
• Support international operations management, including overseas network expansion, coordination with business units and regional teams, and tracking the execution of internationalization strategies
• Contribute to international brand-building initiatives, such as organizing international forums and related events
• Prepare periodic reports on internationalization progress and key initiatives
• Stay up to date with geopolitical, economic, financial and industrial dynamics and regulatory changes in different regions

Required profile

• Undergraduate or postgraduate student in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science or a related major; overseas experience is a plus
• Previous internship or work experience in investment banking, research or consulting with reputable institutions is preferable
• Proactive, responsible, fast learner and efficient worker
• Fluent spoken and written English; fluency in other languages is a plus

Required skills

• Good command of PC skills, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Wind, Bloomberg, Capital IQ and Dealogic is an advantage
