Project Manager - Infrastructure Systems Operations Monitoring

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, delivery and monitoring of infrastructure security and operations monitoring projects for the RTA. This role ensures that all implementations align with organisational objectives, regulatory requirements and best‑practice security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, risk and communication.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including security analysts, network engineers, cloud specialists and external vendors.
• Manage project changes, mitigate risks and monitor performance using appropriate tools.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and local regulations.
• Lead implementation of security monitoring solutions such as SIEM, threat detection, intrusion prevention and endpoint protection.
• Prepare periodic status reports and present updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support audits, security assessments and incident‑response planning as required.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and recommending process enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of experience managing IT security or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale, multi‑vendor projects in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of information security policies, risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
