PYP Homeroom Teacher

About the role

The Millennium School is looking for a dedicated PYP Homeroom Teacher to lead a Primary Years Programme classroom in Dubai. The role focuses on inquiry‑based learning, creating an inclusive environment, and supporting each child's learning journey.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a PYP homeroom class and foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Deliver inquiry‑based lessons aligned with the Primary Years Programme and school values.
• Assess student performance, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Support individual learning needs through effective teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and staff to develop a connected learning experience.
• Maintain regular communication with parents via updates and conferences.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid teaching certification and/or accreditation.
• 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in PYP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for creating positive, inclusive, student‑focused classrooms.
• Residency in Dubai or Sharjah considered.
