About the role
The QA/QC Civil Engineer will develop and implement the project quality plan, ensuring all QA/QC procedures are established, monitored and approved by the client.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan and monitor all project QA/QC activities.
- Review Method Statements, prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and checklists, and obtain client approvals.
- Plan, allocate and coordinate QA/QC tasks among team members, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Orient and train staff, workmen and subcontractor personnel on quality requirements.
- Identify, calibrate, review and maintain testing and measuring equipment.
- Identify testing laboratories, obtain approvals and manage incoming material inspections.
- Coordinate Requests for Inspection (RFIs) and liaise with clients to obtain clearances.
