QAQC Civil Engineer – Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

The QAQC Civil Engineer will join Stantec’s Ras Al Khaimah office to lead quality assurance and control activities across a portfolio of water‑related infrastructure projects, including storm‑water, drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater and water distribution networks, pumping stations and recycling plants. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure that all works meet the highest standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive quality control plans and procedures for each project.
• Review and approve contractors’ QA/QC procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and method statements.
• Conduct regular quality inspections, ISO audits and root‑cause analyses, and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor, record and report quality performance metrics to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations and Stantec’s internal quality policies.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams and subcontractors on quality matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience on utilities and infrastructure projects.
• Professional certifications in quality management or auditing (preferred).
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
