Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure

About the role

AECOM is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Quantity Surveyor for its Dubai team. The role delivers accurate quantity assessments, cost estimates and measurement solutions for major infrastructure projects across the region, working with project teams, stakeholders and senior professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications and BIM models
• Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) aligned with project requirements and recognised measurement standards
• Analyse project documentation to identify scope, quantities and measurement challenges
• Ensure measurements comply with standards such as CESMM, POMI or equivalent
• Support cost estimates, budgets and tender documents, and analyse drawings for cost elements, risks and discrepancies
• Contribute to cost control and tender evaluation and benchmarking
• Verify measurement outputs and quality-check BOQs and cost estimates
• Work with senior quantity surveyors, project managers and cross-functional teams, and share knowledge
• Use QS software and digital measurement tools (CostX, Revit or similar) and BIM-based measurement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in quantity surveying or measurement roles
• Demonstrated experience preparing quantity take-offs and BOQs from 2D and 3D documentation
• Solid understanding of construction methods and infrastructure project delivery
