Raw Material Planner – Paint & Coatings Manufacturing

About the role

The company, a leading petrochemical manufacturer and trader of paints, coatings, resins, adhesives and construction chemicals, is seeking a proactive Raw Material Planner to ensure uninterrupted production across its Middle East operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan raw material requirements using production plans, demand forecasts, MRP, safety stock, MOQ and supplier lead times.
• Identify potential shortages, monitor open purchase orders and coordinate with procurement and suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Optimize inventory by tracking excess, slow‑moving, obsolete and near‑expiry materials.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data in the ERP system.
• Generate regular shortage, availability and inventory reports to support management decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in material planning or MRP, preferably in paint, chemical or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
