Regional Business Development Leader – Maternity Cover (Contract)

About the role

IFS is seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Leader to cover a maternity leave on a fixed‑term contract. The role will oversee Business Development Representatives across APJ ME&A, driving pipeline creation and alignment with sales and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a regional team of BDRs, fostering a high‑performance culture focused on quality pipeline.
• Own regional BDR performance, including performance management, coaching and development.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure effective lead management, SLA adherence and seamless handover to sales.
• Use data and analytics to identify performance indicators and implement actions that improve conversion and productivity.
• Champion AI and automation tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Lusha and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to enhance prospect research and outreach.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading high‑performing Business Development/SDR/BDR teams across multiple markets or geographies.
• Demonstrated success delivering qualified enterprise sales pipeline through simultaneous campaigns.
• Data‑driven leadership with ability to diagnose performance challenges and continuously improve processes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a complex regional environment.
• Self‑starting, resilient and highly accountable leadership style.
