Regional Sales Manager – Africa (French Speaking)

About the role

Leica Biosystems is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Africa who is fluent in French. The role will drive commercial strategy, manage distributor networks, and build strong relationships with key customers across the continent to grow revenue and market share for tissue diagnostics and IVD solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual business plans to meet orders, revenue, profitability, and market‑share targets.
• Identify growth opportunities in existing and emerging African markets.
• Lead territory planning, opportunity management and commercial execution.
• Manage and optimise distributor and channel‑partner relationships, set KPIs and conduct regular business reviews.
• Engage with pathologists, laboratory directors, procurement leaders and ministry representatives to secure strategic accounts and multi‑year agreements.
• Maintain a robust sales funnel, provide accurate forecasts via SFDC and monitor market dynamics.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial Operations, Applications, Customer Care and Service teams to ensure customer success and support product launches.

Required profile

• Fluent in French.
• Proven experience in sales leadership and commercial strategy development across African territories.
• Demonstrated ability to manage distributor and channel‑partner networks.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with healthcare and laboratory stakeholders.

Required skills

• Salesforce (SFDC) for forecasting and pipeline management.
