Registered Nurse – Mental Health

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our mental health team within Amana Healthcare, a leading long‑term care and rehabilitation provider in the Middle East. The role focuses on delivering safe, evidence‑based nursing care to patients experiencing mental health conditions, supporting them throughout assessment, treatment, recovery, and ongoing management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Provide therapeutic nursing interventions while monitoring patients' mental, emotional, and physical well‑being.
• Administer and monitor medications in line with clinical guidelines and physician orders.
• Educate and counsel patients and families, offering psycho‑education to promote recovery and treatment adherence.
• Document patient care, progress notes, and incidents accurately according to regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient‑centred care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Valid DOH nursing license or eligibility letter.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health or psychiatric care setting.
