Registered Nurse – Outpatient Department (OPD)

About the role

The Registered Nurse will work in the Outpatient Department (OPD) of Sunny Speciality Medical Center in Sharjah, delivering safe, patient‑centred care. You will collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment plans for a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs and identify nursing diagnoses.
• Create, implement and evaluate individualized care plans with the interprofessional team.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide wound‑care management and assist in both invasive and non‑invasive procedures.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options and self‑care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the electronic medical record system.
• Ensure safe admission, transfer and discharge processes.

Required profile

• Valid registration as a Nurse with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work across departments when needed.
