Restaurant Manager - Mediterranean Restaurant

About the role

FIVE Hotels and Resorts is looking for a Restaurant Manager for its Mediterranean restaurant in Dubai. The role leads the restaurant's operations, guest experience, team and profitability, and suits someone with a proven track record in luxury hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a seamless, immersive Mediterranean dining experience, anticipating guests' needs and resolving issues quickly
• Oversee table settings, lighting, music and décor, and develop SOPs for opening/closing, reservations, seating and service flow
• Manage inventory, enforce health and safety standards and food hygiene, and collaborate with the Executive Chef on menus and menu performance
• Control costs, analyse financial reports and drive profitability through pricing strategies and sales promotions
• Select, train and motivate the Food and Beverage team, schedule staff and run team meetings and training sessions
• Explore revenue growth through private events, collaborations and partnerships

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel (preferred)
• Demonstrated expertise as a Restaurant Manager or in a comparable leadership role in an upscale Mediterranean restaurant, ideally with live DJ performances
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred)
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
