Restaurant Server - Turkish and Lebanese Restaurant

About the role

The InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa, a luxury beachfront resort on Hayat Island less than an hour from Dubai, is looking for a Restaurant Server for its Turkish and Lebanese restaurant. The role centres on delivering memorable meals through a warm welcome, inspired recommendations and seamless service from starter to dessert.

Key responsibilities

• Serve meals to a high standard with a warm welcome and helpful recommendations
• Keep the kitchen well stocked, clean and safe
• Help with washing up and other kitchen duties when the team needs you
• Minimise waste and report unsafe equipment, low supplies or safety incidents to the supervisor or duty manager
• Take on ad-hoc duties to keep service running smoothly

Required profile

• Able to lift, push and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling
• Good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
• Compliance with local food-handling and alcohol-serving laws, above the minimum age and fluent in the local language
• Great communication, warm and welcoming
