Risk Manager - Rail

About the role

Mace is looking for a Risk Manager for its rail projects in Dubai. The role covers the identification, analysis, treatment and reporting of programme risks and opportunities, and supports the application of risk management frameworks across assigned projects and programmes. It is listed as part-time.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyse, treat and report programme risks and opportunities
• Support the implementation of risk management frameworks, processes and controls
• Coordinate risk workshops and stakeholder engagement
• Maintain risk registers, action plans and governance records
• Produce risk reports, dashboards and performance insights
• Support qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including cost and schedule risk assessments, contingency reviews and forecasting
• Work with project controls, planning, cost and PMO teams to embed risk management in programme governance
• Contribute to the net zero carbon transition by identifying and managing carbon emissions and reductions

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in the applicable discipline
• Demonstrated experience on rail, metro, high-speed rail or comparable major infrastructure programmes
• Knowledge of delivery processes, standards, systems and governance for the role
• Professional membership, chartership or specialist certification preferred
• UAE or wider GCC experience is advantageous but not a substitute for technical competence
