Sales Manager - Leisure Wholesale & International Markets

About the role

The Sales Manager for Leisure Wholesale and International Markets at Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, drives leisure business and international market growth through partnerships with travel wholesalers, tour operators, DMCs, travel agencies and international trade partners. The role focuses on new international business, strengthening existing leisure accounts, increasing room-night production and positioning the hotel as a preferred luxury destination, with particular emphasis on the UK, German and CIS markets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with international leisure wholesalers, tour operators, DMCs and travel agencies, negotiate annual contracts, rates, promotions and value-added offers, and drive room-night production and revenue growth.
• Develop sales strategies for assigned international leisure markets, identify emerging source markets, and represent the hotel at trade events, roadshows and sales missions; conduct overseas sales trips when required.
• Achieve agreed room-night, revenue, ADR and account production targets, work with the Revenue Management team on pricing and availability, prepare sales reports and forecasts, and maximise revenue in shoulder seasons.
• Maintain key accounts, resolve commercial or operational issues, record account activity in the hotel's CRM, and build internal links with Reservations, Revenue Management, Front Office, Events, Marketing and Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a luxury or upscale hotel.
• Strong experience in leisure wholesale, tour operators, DMCs, travel trade and international markets, with established relationships in the UK, German and CIS markets highly advantageous.
• Experience in international sales trips, roadshows and trade shows.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of OPERA PMS.
• Negotiation, presentation, networking and account management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
