Senior Chef de Partie – New French Concept

About the role

Jumeirah Al Qasr is launching a new French dining concept and seeks a Senior Chef de Partie to lead one of its kitchen sections. This senior position reports to the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality French dishes that meet Jumeirah’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the assigned section, guaranteeing consistent, high‑quality output.
• Supervise, mentor and train Demi Chef de Partie and Commis staff.
• Assist in menu planning and recipe development, focusing on creativity and seasonal relevance.
• Prepare accurate mise‑en‑place for each service period.
• Monitor portion control, presentation and garnishing to maintain premium quality.
• Collaborate with Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine on operational improvements and cost‑control measures.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of progressive culinary experience in a luxury hospitality environment.
• College degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent from an accredited culinary school.
• Proficiency in English and a second language (European languages desirable).
• Experience working in a multicultural team.
