About the role
The Senior Coating & Painting Inspector will oversee coating and painting activities on oil and gas projects, ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and specifications. The role requires strong technical knowledge, extensive field experience, and the ability to produce detailed technical reports.
Required profile
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, qualified to BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 certification.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 5 years in pipe coating and field joint inspection.
- Hands‑on experience with 3LPP and concrete coating systems.
- Proven track record working with EPC contractors.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to prepare technical reports.
Required skills
- NACE Level 2 certification (or equivalent BGAS Grade 2).
- Pipe coating inspection and field joint inspection.
- Concrete coating application and quality control.
- Familiarity with ASME, ISO and BS codes.
- Computer literacy for reporting and data management.
