Senior Construction Manager / Project Manager

About the role

Meraki Developers is hiring a Project Manager / Senior Construction Manager in Dubai. The role plans, executes, monitors and completes construction works according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety norms and project timelines, coordinating with all stakeholders and optimising resource use. It reports to the General Manager, Project Director or Project Head.

Key responsibilities

• Execute construction works to approved drawings, specifications, standards and ITPs, following proper sequences and procedures
• Monitor progress and prepare recovery and mitigation plans to prevent schedule slippage
• Manage manpower, materials and plant and machinery, including timely procurement and material reconciliation
• Coordinate with trades, subcontractors, consultants and vendors, certify completion reports and lead, train and control them
• Ensure 100% quality compliance, maintain quality checklists and prevent rework
• Enforce safety standards, ensure site housekeeping and promote a strong safety culture
• Control material wastage and costs, propose value engineering and introduce efficiency improvements
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, reports and logs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 to 15 years of total experience, preferably more than 8 years in the UAE
• Experience in commercial, residential or mixed-use buildings, preferably mid-rise or high-rise, with a reputed contracting or real estate development company
• At least two completed residential building projects from start to handover as a Construction Manager
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements
