Senior Consultant - Digital Trust (Cyber Defense)

About the role

You will join the Cyber Defense and Response team as a Senior Consultant, delivering red‑team operations, penetration testing, adversarial emulations and SOC maturity assessments for clients across multiple sectors. The position is remote for candidates based in Egypt, with occasional travel to the UAE or KSA.

Key responsibilities

• Execute penetration tests on web, mobile, API and network infrastructures.
• Participate in red‑team and social‑engineering engagements, including phishing and physical intrusion scenarios.
• Set up, maintain and operate C2 infrastructure using tools such as Cobalt Strike or Sliver.
• Assist in adversary‑emulation exercises based on the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Prepare detailed, risk‑based reports and present findings to internal and client teams.
• Develop and maintain internal tools, scripts and documentation for offensive testing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in offensive security and VAPT, with hands‑on experience across web, mobile, API, cloud and network assessments.
• Strong knowledge of penetration‑testing methodologies (OWASP, PTES, NIST) and secure code review for languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, Java, Swift, Dart, SQL.
• Experience with red‑team and purple‑team concepts, including social engineering, initial access, lateral movement and data exfiltration.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced consulting environments and deliver high‑quality reports.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior client stakeholders.

Required skills

• OSCP certification (mandatory) and at least one of OSEP, OSWE, CCT INF, CCT APP.
• Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, BloodHound, Cobalt Strike, Mythic.
• Scripting expertise in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Programming knowledge in Java, C# or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, PTES and NIST testing frameworks.
