Senior Estimator – Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

As a Senior Estimator in ALEC’s Fit‑Out division, you will lead the preparation of competitive and accurate tender submissions for high‑end interior projects. You will work closely with procurement, operations and commercial teams to ensure timely delivery of bids.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions for high‑end fit‑out projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and BOQs to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and cost information.
• Identify risks, value‑engineering opportunities and cost‑saving solutions.
• Support commercial and procurement teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior estimators and promote best practices across the estimating function.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of estimating experience within the fit‑out contracting industry, including luxury projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading complex tender submissions and managing multiple bids simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of fit‑out estimation, procurement, subcontractor pricing and value engineering.
• Excellent understanding of interior/finishing materials, market price trends and cost impacts.
