Senior Manager - Controlling, Global Treasury Centre

About the role

The Senior Manager - Controlling at the Global Treasury Centre supports the Head of Controlling in managing strategic treasury governance. The role covers developing treasury governance frameworks, leading transformation initiatives and implementing AI strategies to improve treasury operations, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring compliance with audit standards.

Key responsibilities

• Treasury governance and compliance: develop and continuously improve Treasury policies, SOPs, SLAs, DOAs, RACI matrices and operating models, and manage the annual review and closure of governance actions
• Treasury transformation: lead standardization, automation, control enhancement and efficiency projects such as cash pooling, in-house bank, trade finance digitization and treasury technology initiatives
• Treasury AI strategy: set up controls for AI development and deployment, ensure stage-gate compliance, partner with the EIT and AI office and track AI use cases
• Treasury reporting: oversee Treasury reports, P&L, balance sheet positions and operating costs, and keep performance aligned with budgets and forecasts
• Audit, risk and stakeholder engagement: act as main contact for internal and external audits, close audit findings and aim for zero repeat high-risk observations

Required profile

• CA, CFA, CPA or equivalent certification is required; additional treasury coursework (ACT or similar) is beneficial
• At least 5 years of experience in a large organization managing treasury operations and controls
• Advanced knowledge of treasury processes, banking, hedging and trade finance
• Ability to manage pressure, influence colleagues and work with stakeholders

• Advanced analytical skills and strong communication and presentation abilities
