About the role
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will provide pragmatic engineering support from concept development through to execution for district cooling projects. The role involves developing innovative, cost‑effective solutions and collaborating with business development, clients, contractors and regulators.
Key responsibilities
- Develop concept and detailed designs, conduct technical feasibility studies and prepare technical proposals.
- Review technical submittals, manage equipment selection, tender processes and life‑cycle cost analysis.
- Evaluate and model energy and water consumption, perform hydraulic modelling and prepare reports for optimized solutions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years of experience in district cooling or energy‑related projects.
- Additional certifications such as HVAC, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and membership in professional bodies (e.g., ASHRAE) are desirable.
Required skills
- Hydraulic modelling and HVAC load calculation software.
- Advanced Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
