Senior Principal IT Pillar Specialist – Digital Twin

About the role

The Senior Principal IT Pillar Specialist – Digital Twin will lead the design, development and delivery of Digital Twin solutions for offshore oil & gas facilities, aligning with the company’s digitalisation strategy and cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Digital Twin roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and O&M use cases.
• Lead planning, execution, monitoring and closure of Digital Twin projects, managing budgets, timelines and resources.
• Develop, maintain and improve digital platforms, software and workflows used for O&M operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments, client representatives, JV partners and digital service integrators to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Conduct technical quality audits, document decisions and raise queries to ensure compliance with McDermott procedures and standards.
• Mentor and oversee development engineers and contractors, driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in digitalisation and autonomous operations within the oil & gas industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Strong understanding of offshore facility lifecycle, EPCI, O&M techniques and industrial control systems.
• Proven track record of delivering complex IT solutions on time and within budget.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
