Senior Process Engineer – Offshore Project

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Process Engineer will lead process engineering activities for ADNOC offshore FEED projects, initially based in Abu Dhabi and later on‑site at an Asian FEED location.

Key responsibilities

• Execute process engineering tasks for offshore FEED studies, ensuring safe and efficient design of oil and gas facilities.
• Develop and review design documents such as Design Basis Memorandum, Process Design Philosophies, PFDs, P&IDs, Utility Flow Diagrams, heat and material balance reports, calculations, narratives and data sheets.
• Perform process simulations and engineering calculations using industry‑standard tools.
• Support design optimization, safety, operability and maintainability improvements.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with ADNOC Offshore standards, international codes, project specifications and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in offshore production, gas processing, water injection, utilities, flare systems and brownfield modification projects.
• Proven experience with FEED studies and familiarity with ADNOC Offshore standards and international codes.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi and later at an Asian FEED location for 6‑8 months.

Required skills

• Process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus).
• Development of PFDs, P&IDs, utility flow diagrams and heat‑material balances.
• Process calculations and engineering analysis.
• Knowledge of ADNOC Offshore standards, API/ISO codes and HSE requirements.
