Senior Procurement Engineer – High‑Rise Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer to lead procurement activities for high‑rise civil and MEP projects. The role involves managing material, equipment and subcontract packages to support our construction programmes in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement of construction materials, equipment and subcontract packages.
• Prepare RFQs, obtain quotations and develop technical and commercial comparison sheets.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, planning, construction and commercial teams.
• Monitor long‑lead items, maintain procurement schedules and trackers, and ensure timely delivery.
• Support value‑engineering and cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12 years of procurement experience in main contracting, preferably on high‑rise tower projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and subcontract packages.
• Proven negotiation and supplier‑management abilities.
• Experience in the UAE/GCC market is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office/Excel.
