Senior Project Manager - Structures/Infrastructure (Car Parking Projects)

About the role

Mace is delivering a major expansion programme in Dubai, turning a flagship development into a world-leading events and exhibitions destination. It is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major high-value car parking projects from concept design through design development, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. The role requires strong experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects and the ability to lead consultants, contractors and stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for delivering major car parking projects from concept design to completion and handover.
• Supervise the development of the concept design through detailed design, keeping it aligned with requirements, programme, budget and buildability.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design consultants (architecture, structural, civil, MEP, transport and specialist disciplines).
• Drive design reviews, value engineering, constructability reviews and resolution of technical and interface issues.
• Develop the procurement and packaging strategy with commercial, procurement and technical teams, and support tendering, contractor selection, technical evaluations and contract award.
• Establish and manage the project delivery strategy, programme, milestones and critical interfaces.
• Direct appointed contractors through mobilisation, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Manage project risks, changes, programme performance and delivery constraints.
• Coordinate with commercial, design, planning, HSW and quality teams, and with surrounding infrastructure, utilities, public realm and adjacent developments.
• Chair project meetings, report and escalate key issues, and ensure safety, quality, programme and commercial performance.

Required profile

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, project management or a related built-environment discipline.
• Professional membership or chartered status (e.g. CIOB, RICS, ICE, APM or PMP) is advantageous.
• Significant experience delivering large, complex building or infrastructure projects in a senior project management capacity.
• Experience across design development, procurement and construction delivery, rather than purely construction-stage management.
• Experience in a PMC, consultancy, developer or major project environment preferred.
• Previous UAE or wider GCC major-project experience preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary design coordination and construction interfaces.
• Experience with major parking structures, transport facilities, podiums, complex concrete structures or similar large-scale assets is highly advantageous.
• Strong contractor, consultant and stakeholder management capabilities.
