Senior SAP Integration Consultant – Integration Suite, Agentic AI & MCP

About the role

We are seeking a Senior SAP Integration Consultant to join a 12‑month enterprise transformation programme in Abu Dhabi. The role sits at the intersection of SAP Integration, AI and next‑generation architecture, focusing on secure, scalable integration of SAP systems with AI‑driven applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI/Cloud Integration) and SAP API Management.
• Build and expose secure OData services, API proxies and iFlows across SAP and non‑SAP applications.
• Develop custom APIs for SAP S/4HANA, including CDS‑based OData, RFC/BAPI and ABAP endpoints.
• Enable secure connectivity between SAP systems and AI‑powered applications or autonomous agents.
• Explore and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) Gateway/Server capabilities for AI‑agent integration.
• Design robust API security and governance frameworks (OAuth2, XSUAA, authentication, authorisation, access controls).
• Collaborate with AI engineering, platform and business teams to define integration requirements and API contracts.
• Ensure data security, auditability and compliance for sensitive HR and financial data.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on SAP integration experience (SAP PI/PO, CPI or Integration Suite).
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration and API Management.
• Proven experience developing iFlows, API proxies and OData services (v2/v4).
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA integrations, CDS Views, RFC/BAPI and custom API development.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and other enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of integration adapters and protocols (REST, SOAP, HTTP, IDoc, RFC, SFTP).
• Strong grasp of SAP BTP security (OAuth2, XSUAA, Destination Service, principal propagation).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
