Senior Supply Chain Manager - Infrastructure & Civil Construction

About the role

A highly experienced and commercially driven Senior Supply Chain Manager is sought to lead and optimise supply chain and strategic procurement operations for major infrastructure and civil construction projects in the UAE. The role ensures procurement excellence, cost optimisation, supplier performance and timely availability of materials, equipment and subcontracting services to support project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain and procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and organisational objectives.
• Lead strategic sourcing, tendering, commercial negotiations and contract management for infrastructure and civil construction projects.
• Oversee procurement of construction materials, plant and equipment, subcontracting packages and specialist services.
• Establish and manage strategic relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and key business partners.
• Drive cost optimisation, value engineering, budget control and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, quality standards and project schedules.
• Lead supplier prequalification, performance evaluation, risk management and supply chain planning.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, commercial and finance teams.
• Lead and develop high-performing procurement and supply chain teams.

Required profile

• Extensive senior-level experience in supply chain management and strategic procurement, preferably in infrastructure, roads, highways, utilities and major civil construction.
• Proven track record managing complex procurement packages, high-value contracts, commercial negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS (Level 5/6), CPSM or CSCP (ASCM/APICS) highly preferred; equivalent recognised qualifications considered.
