Senior Supply Chain Officer

About the role

Acino, a pharmaceutical company part of Arcera, is hiring a Senior Supply Chain Officer based in Dubai, UAE. The role reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain, GCC, and covers end-to-end supply chain activities, including demand and supply planning, inventory control and the S&OP process. It owns the supply order book and source of supply, manages CMO/local site planning and ordering, and balances supply and demand to optimise inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end demand activities with Sales and Marketing to ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels.
• Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market intelligence and inputs from Finance, retailers and other stakeholders, and update them in SAP.
• Prepare and monitor KPIs such as sales forecast accuracy, inventory coverage, demand vs supply availability and factory OTIF, and act on deviations.
• Manage finished goods ordering and order management, monitor backorders and align with Regulatory and other functions to mitigate supply disruptions.
• Lead local supply chain activities for new product launches and collaborate with the Regional Supply Team on mitigation plans.
• Own inventory planning and optimization, including stock modeling, aging, slow-moving stock and rotation, and prepare monthly IMS/TMS outlooks and supply-demand reconciliations.
• Manage supply allocation, partner performance against KPIs, MSAs and SLAs, and contribute to cross-functional projects.
• Drive the Cluster Supply Chain KPI dashboard and maintain a risk escalation and feedback loop.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant supply chain experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently in a matrix organization and multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in SAP (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical skills, negotiation and stakeholder management.
