Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – Events & Freelance Recruitment

About the role

Talent BluePrint is looking for an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end‑to‑end recruitment for large‑scale sporting, entertainment and cultural events across the GCC. This fixed‑term position in Dubai will focus on sourcing freelance, contract and select permanent talent for a wide range of event functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned freelance and full‑time roles, from briefing to onboarding.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to role requirements, project scope, location and timeline.
• Screen, interview, assess and shortlist candidates while balancing speed and quality.
• Conduct detailed candidate assessments covering event experience, technical capabilities, availability, salary expectations and overall fit.
• Coordinate interview schedules, feedback, offers, confirmations and joining processes.
• Maintain ownership of vacancies from start to successful deployment.
• Identify recruitment challenges early and propose practical mitigation measures.
• Build and sustain talent pipelines across sports, entertainment, exhibitions, conferences, festivals and related sectors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably within events, sports or entertainment sectors.
• Highly driven, delivery‑focused and able to work independently.
• Strong ability to manage multiple recruitment requirements simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent assessment skills with a focus on matching candidate experience to specific event roles.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can anticipate and address recruitment risks.
