Senior Transport/Roads Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Transport/Roads Design Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and delivery of roads, highways, junctions, and civil infrastructure projects, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of roads and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review road alignments, junction layouts, and engineering drawings.
• Develop road designs using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements and industry standards.
• Attend client meetings and support technical reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10-16 years of experience in transport and roads design.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE project experience.
• Strong experience in road geometry, highways, junctions, and infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills.
• DMT registration is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
