Senior Vice President – Asset Management (Retail)

About the role

The Senior Vice President of Asset Management (Retail) will lead the execution of the retail strategy for both owned and third‑party assets, overseeing full P&L responsibility and driving financial performance across a portfolio of high‑value retail properties.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Retail Management Strategy across assigned assets and consolidate detailed P&L statements for review by senior leadership.
• Conduct in‑depth financial analysis (IRR, ROI, ROE) on underperforming assets and potential acquisitions to support go/no‑go decisions.
• Manage delivery of assets in the growth pipeline, including new development and transformation projects.
• Analyze market trends to identify investment opportunities and maximize profit.
• Collaborate with Property Management to set and monitor monthly operational and financial targets, recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Provide input on rent pricing, leasing mix, and cross‑retail asset strategies to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience managing retail asset properties with annual revenue exceeding AED 1 billion.
• At least 4 years in a senior managerial role within retail management, preferably in malls or community retail.
• Strong exposure to the GCC real‑estate market and experience in property management.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, economics or a related field.
