Senior Vice President & Head of Facilities Management & Workplace Experience

About the role

The Senior Vice President & Head will lead enterprise‑wide facilities management, corporate services and workplace experience for a major UAE bank. This executive position drives engineering excellence, digital transformation and a hospitality‑led service culture across a large multi‑site portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead facilities management and engineering operations, overseeing critical infrastructure, building systems and asset lifecycle management.
• Develop and implement workplace experience strategies that improve employee engagement, wellbeing and productivity, leveraging smart workplace technologies and analytics.
• Oversee corporate services such as travel, fleet, workplace support, and manage government relations, permits and statutory requirements.
• Drive digital transformation through CAFM/IWMS platforms, IoT‑enabled monitoring, predictive maintenance and automation initiatives.
• Manage operational and capital budgets, procurement, vendor contracts and governance frameworks to ensure cost optimisation and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (mandatory); MBA or Master’s in related fields preferred.
• 18‑20 years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 10 years leading enterprise‑wide facilities and workplace operations in large multi‑site environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical infrastructure, data‑centre facilities, and experience with outsourced service providers and complex contracts.

• HVAC systems, chiller plants and HVAC controls.
• Electrical infrastructure, substations, UPS systems and generators.
• Fire and life‑safety systems, Building Management Systems (BMS) and MEP systems.
