About the role
The Senior Vice President – Retail Leasing will lead Aldar Investment’s leasing function, shaping strategy, driving financial performance and nurturing tenant relationships across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, formalize and execute leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income, including market research and target tenant identification.
- Manage financial aspects of leasing operations, such as budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking, with deep understanding of P&L statements.
- Drive rent rate growth by negotiating competitive rental rates and lease terms.
- Lead and develop the leasing team, set performance targets, monitor results and provide training opportunities.
- Manage tenant relationships and maintain strong partnerships with major UAE groups such as Al Shaya, Landmark, Chalhoub and Al Tayer.
- Build international relationships with key global brands to introduce Aldar projects and secure value‑adding tenants.
- Negotiate lease agreements, review and approve lease documents, and finalize rental rates and terms with prospective tenants.
