Service Advisor - UAE National

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is hiring a UAE National Service Advisor for its Abu Dhabi auto centre. The role ensures a professional customer journey and customer retention while contributing to the company's profitability, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, company values and standards, and compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer retention by applying the AF Standard and principle processes, aiming for a Net Promoter Score above 70.
• Keep customer service values and AF values in line, aiming for a Customer Service Value above 4.6.
• Maintain quality consistently, targeting a First Right Fix rate above 90%.
• Drive profitability through sales and upselling of incremental product and service packages, measured by Net Sales.
• Implement 5S at work, monitored through WIP/GEMBA evaluations, and follow business SOPs assessed via PDR metrics.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and prevent harm to the environment.
• Take part in learning and development on new technology, work procedures, time standards and technical know-how.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience as a Body & Paint Service Advisor in a reputable workshop.
• Knowledge of body parts and general mechanical components used in Body & Paint repairs.
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures in the automotive service sector.

Required skills

• Proven ability to maintain high customer service standards.
• Strong sales skills, including upselling and increasing net sales.
• Ability to implement quality control measures and maintain service discipline.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental compliance in a service setting.
