Site Engineer – Joinery and Fitout

About the role

The Site Engineer will manage on‑site installation and execution of joinery and fit‑out works, ensuring quality, safety and compliance with project schedules and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation of joinery and fit‑out works according to approved drawings and specifications, coordinating foremen and subcontractors.
• Inspect completed works, identify and rectify defects, and ensure delivered materials meet quality standards.
• Track site progress against the schedule, prepare daily/weekly reports and propose recovery plans for any delays.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks and report incidents promptly.
• Coordinate with other trades (MEP, civil, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow and manage material requests and deliveries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
• Minimum 3–5 years of site experience in joinery, fit‑out or construction.
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.

Required skills

• Knowledge of joinery installation methods, materials and finishing standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
