Site ID Manager - Client Side Interior Design

About the role

The Site ID Manager is a client-side role responsible for delivering the approved interior design intent on site, in line with the approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, programme and project requirements. The position sits within the interior design and project delivery function.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Interior Designer, Architect, MEP, Structural, Contractor and specialist subcontractors to ensure proper design integration and site execution.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical submissions, samples, mock-ups and method statements for compliance with the approved design and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections of workmanship, finishes, materials, joinery, doors, sanitaryware, ceilings and flooring.
• Ensure the approved design intent, materials, finishes, details and quality standards are maintained throughout construction.
• Review materials and samples for colour, finish, quality, dimensions and specifications.
• Identify and resolve design, coordination, constructability and interface issues between interior design, architectural, structural and MEP works.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance so that works follow approved documents and project requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement on material availability, approved alternatives, long-lead items and their impact on design and programme.
• Review RFIs, technical queries, proposed alternatives and design changes while protecting the approved design intent.
• Identify non-conforming works, coordinate corrective actions and verify rectification and compliance.
• Monitor ID-related progress, flag potential delays and coordinate actions to keep the programme on track.
• Inspect, monitor snagging and de-snagging, and ensure interior works meet the required quality before handover.
