Social Compliance Specialist (Emirati Talent)

About the role

Majid Al Futtaim is looking for a Specialist - Social Compliance (Emirati talent) to support Occupational Health & Safety (OSH) compliance across its businesses. The specialist conducts site assessments, reviews contractor and supplier compliance, identifies hazards and safety risks, monitors corrective actions and supports compliance reporting, in line with regulatory requirements, internal standards and ISO 45001 principles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead OSH compliance assessments across business units, sites, projects, contractors, suppliers and service providers
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, internal standards, contractual requirements and industry best practice
• Conduct site inspections, workplace assessments and compliance reviews to identify hazards, risks and non-conformances
• Review safety documentation such as risk assessments, policies, procedures, incident reports, training records and contractor submissions
• Manage the identification, tracking, reporting and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions from audits and inspections
• Analyse safety performance data, incidents and trends to support risk mitigation and continuous improvement
• Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, assessments and management summaries
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors and business units to strengthen health and safety governance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Risk Management or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in HSE, occupational safety, compliance, risk management or similar safety roles
• Proven experience in site inspections, safety audits, compliance assessments and workplace risk evaluations
• Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment methods, safety regulations and ISO 45001
• Excellent analytical, reporting, stakeholder management and communication skills

Required skills

• Preferred: NEBOSH International General Certificate
• Advantageous: IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or other professional HSE certifications
