Social Media Specialist (1-year contract)

About the role

Our client is looking for a dynamic Social Media Specialist to join their marketing team on a 1‑year contract. The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience managing social platforms, a strong grasp of current trends, and the ability to generate fresh ideas that boost brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the social media strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook and other channels.
• Create on‑brand content in partnership with design teams and external agencies.
• Monitor performance with analytics tools and optimise content based on insights.
• Collaborate with social media agencies to align strategy and execution.
• Identify and manage relationships with relevant influencers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to respond to customer inquiries promptly.
• Plan and run paid social campaigns and influencer‑led initiatives.
• Engage the online community by responding to comments and managing conversations.
• Report key metrics and provide actionable recommendations to the marketing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 4+ years of social media management experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven record of growing and engaging audiences.
• Experience working with agencies and managing influencer partnerships.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines independently.
