Software Solution Consultant - QHSE Software (Middle East)

About the role

DNV is looking for a Software Solution Consultant to join its QHSE Customer Solution Design team, strengthening the team that supports the Synergi Life software suite. Synergi Life helps organisations manage enterprise risk, incidents, quality and operational excellence, covering quality, health, safety and environment, and is delivered mainly as a SaaS solution. The role is based in Dubai, reports to the Head of Section Global QHSE Customer Solution Design and involves occasional travel to customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Work with external customers, configure and implement the software and advise on best practices according to customer requirements.
• Attend workshops and meetings to gather customer requirements, prepare specification documents and scopes of work, and identify opportunities to add value and sales opportunities with existing customers.
• Configure the Synergi Life application to meet agreed requirements, test installations and configurations, and act as project manager for smaller implementation and configuration projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic or another regional language is an advantage.
• Self-driven, reliable, proactive and customer-oriented, with good time management, prioritisation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team, and to challenge customers constructively.

Required skills

• Good experience of relational databases (SQL Server).
• Proficiency with Windows Server and web technologies.
• MS SQL at a high level; PowerShell, Python, C#/.NET and Synergi Life knowledge are advantages.
• HSEQ or risk domain knowledge, and previous experience in the energy sector, are advantages.
